Social Services: The committee provides essential support in areas such as healthcare, education, and basic needs for refugees and asylum seekers.
Advocacy: ZRC advocates for the rights and welfare of Zomi and other refugees, including pushing for improved access to legal employment, education, and healthcare.
Community Support Units: ZRC operates units such as the Durable Solution Unit (DSU) and Community-Based Protection Unit (CBP) to address the long-term needs and immediate protection concerns of refugees.
Collaboration with Other Organizations: ZRC participates in fact-finding missions, public meetings, and advocacy campaigns in partnership with international delegations and local NGOs to address the hardships faced by Zomi refugees and to recommend policy changes to host governments and international agencies.
